Central Iowa Junk Jaunt is a vintage road trip in central Iowa, where treasure seekers can experience the captivating Iowa countryside while searching for local antiques, vintage, and flea market finds. The Jaunt is a popular adventure for a leisurely, set-your-own-pace weekend excursion. We currently host two events a year. (Spring & Fall) and feature 20+ vendors encompassing eight quaint Iowa cities and towns. Our desire is that guests find joy in lingering in the Iowa landscape while shopping for good vintage and handmade items, finding the "best kept secret" eateries & discovering local shops that they will come back to again & again!

This jaunt is an Indoor/outdoor event featuring antique and vintage shops in quaint Iowa towns including home décor, collectibles, jewelry, handcrafted goods, outdoor accents, seasonal floral, local eats and everything one needs to create a vintage and handmade lifestyle.

Who can apply to be in the event? 

We are looking for shops/exhibitors to include:

-  Vintage & Antiques

-  Repurposed items

-  Garden/Seasonal Floral

-  Vintage and/or Handmade Clothing/Jewelry

-  Architectural salvage and up-cycled items

-  High quality handmade items

-  Artisan Local Food

Is the event juried? 

In order to provide a variety of high-quality vendors for the Jaunt, this is a juried event. Careful consideration of the quality and individuality of vendors is taken into account.  Considerations include:  products and variety offered, boutique quality, display and originality that best represents the intended look and atmosphere of Central Iowa Junk Jaunt.

How do I apply?

Applications are due APRIL 24.

Once accepted, a non-refundable payment is due upon receiving your invoice or your space may be released.

Vendor Categories/Fees: (for each event)

1. Shop/stop on the map: $160

2. Shop/stop & Host: $160 A stop/shop with own market vendors. *Individual Vendors names not advertised on the map.

3. Food/drink truck: $160

4. Vintage/handmade Vendor: $160 *outside pop-up booth - vendor wanting to be placed at a stop – must provide own booth. If you are a camper and require more space or electrical- please indicate in the application form. While we don't actively find pop-up locations, at times we know of vendors who are looking to fill spaces and can help connect you.

CIJJ is juried, meaning all vendors must go through the application process and not all applications are accepted. You will be contacted via email regarding your application status. All vendors must be open during the advertised hours of the event and agree that upon being accepted for the CIJJ event will comply with the event times and keep shop/booth open during the entire event hours.

Once accepted, a non-refundable payment request will be sent via email and must be paid within 1 week, or your space may be released.
